Manchester United has a reason to believe in their game against Arsenal

Updated: Jul 24, 2023

As the reign of Erik Ten Hag dawns in Manchester united, A new era perhaps began in the United Stand, with fans energized to back their new manager, surely it would mean the start of something big or is it?

Last season at this point of the year, Manchester United fans were in celebration with their team finally starting to set off with the homecoming of Ronaldo, the team being runners up in Europa League, It seemed all static until the end of the season when it all faded away in a Thanos snap.

A team started under Ole Gunnar Solakjaer, came into the hands of Ralf-Rangnick under whom United was just a shell of its former self.

So, What's new this season, well this season they have the same excitement surrounding the stadiums, the same old energetic aurora but slightly less, Last year it was Champions League football this year it is Europa League. last year it was for Ronaldo this year its for Ten Hag

After signing world-class players like Casemiro, Antony, and Lisandro Martinez Erik Ten Hag has a formidable squad this season not up to challenge with the title fight but, tight enough to squeeze through the Top 4 spot.

After a harsh reality check from Brighton and Brentford, Manchester United seems to have found its footing once again, with a solid performance against Liverpool and Southampton, Manchester United seems to be in the mood ahead of its clash against Arsenal.

Arsenal, on the other hand, had a brilliant start to the season, winning all their 4 Premier League, currently sitting on top of the table they seemed to be high on confidence and high on morale, with Jabriel Jesus having a dream start to his Arsenal career.

Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus seem to be the players who could really hurt Manchester United going in forward. With a vision that can open up Manchester United's backline in a matter of seconds.

To cope with threats like Gabriel Jesus Manchester United seemed to have found their dream centre-back partnership in Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, these two players have solid games under Liverpool and Southampton surely they might start again.

With a midfield consisting of Bruno Fernandes, Eriksen, and Casemiro Manchester United could have that holding power required during the high-intensity game, vision from Bruno and Eriksen to move the ball forward could be the key in opening up that solid Arsenal defence.

A long-time solution at the back it seems whereas Manchester United seems to have resources going forward with the signing of Antony from Ajax, Manchester United have a bright option for their wing combine that with Sancho, and Machester United wingers should be running like a mad man down those wings.

If Manchester United could soak up the pressure, Odegard, Saka, and Gabriel Jesus would definitely provide during the first half Manchester United might have a chance to get something from this game, or might all three points, a narrow win perhaps who knows?

we surely do know Arsenal won't be sitting their ducks behind whenever United bring the ball out forward. Surely likes of Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus, and Saka are players to watch when they break into counter-running against that Manchester United defence.
